Workforce Statistics

The information displayed in this module provides an analysis of the race and ethnicity, sex, generation, years of service, retirement eligibility, and academic rank and tenure of faculty. This module focuses on the headcounts of the staff and faculty populations that meet the selected criteria.

Years of Service Headcounts

Provides a snapshot of the number of years of regular service by race and ethnicity and sex.

Years of Service Average

Provides an overview of the average years of service of faculty and staff by job family, race and ethnicity and sex.

Job Family Overview

Provides a headcount of exempt and non-exempt staff within each staff job family and a headcount of 9-month and 12-month faculty within the faculty job family.

A grid view of headcounts by race and ethnicity within each job family.


Academic Rank & Tenure Status

Academic Rank Overview

Provides a headcount of faculty by academic rank, i.e. professor, associate professor, assistant professor, lecturer, and instructor.

Tenure Status Overview

Provides a headcount of faculty by tenured, on-tenure track, and not on tenure track status.

Tenure by Academic Rank

Provides a headcount of faculty by tenure status within each academic rank.

Retirement Eligibility

Currently Eligible for Retirement

Provides a general overview of staff and faculty eligible for retirement according to their age and retirement eligible years of service.

Retirement Eligibility Projections

Provides a future look at the number of staff and faculty that will be retirement eligible in 3-years, 5-years, and 10-years.

Retirement Eligibility Job Family

Provides current and projected retirement eligible staff and faculty counts by job family.

Retirement Eligibility Tenure Status

Provides an overview of the count of current faculty members and the number of retirement eligible faculty by tenure status.


Current Leave Balances

Overview

Provides the average balance in hours for annual leave, sick leave, and compensatory time (non-exempt staff only) for 12-month faculty, exempt staff, and non-exempt staff. It also shows the number of staff and faculty that are participating in the Sick Leave Bank.

Faculty 12-Month

Provides annual leave and sick leave balances by days and headcount for 12-month faculty.

Exempt Staff

Provides annual leave and sick leave balances by days and headcount for exempt staff.

Non-Exempt Staff

Provides annual leave, sick leave, and compensatory time balances by days and headcount for non-exempt staff.
